OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY — PLEASE HELP …St. Vincent
de Paul (SVDP), St. Bernard Chapter, is in need of home visitors. What does this entail? When families in need ask for furniture SVDP members make a home visit. The purpose of the home visit is to get acquainted with the family, evaluate the need, make a report, build a helping relationship, and pray with the family. SVDP always make visits in groups of two. With two or more groups of two, visits may consist of one to two a week. This ministry is Gospel centered and very much a part of who we are as Catholics and active parishioners. Sr. Catherine will offer orientation to anyone interested after 10:00 A.M. Mass on Sunday, Dec. 6th and after 4:30 P.M. Mass on Saturday, December 12th.
