We are in need of people to count the weekend offerings. We would like to form one or two more teams to assist once a month. If you volunteered in the past, we would benefit from your experience today. Please contact Mr. Dennis Siwik through our parish office: 330-253-5161.

Save your Paper! We have 3 paper recycle containers in our St. Bernard-St. Mary School parking lot. These containers are turned in for cash to benefit our 190+ students with very needed school supplies. The containers are easily accessible at 750 S. Main Street. Your newspaper is valuable to us.

Congratulations to Walsh Jesuit students, Marcia Leon and Alexander Tortorella whose academic achievements earned them a place on the Honor Roll for their high school. Well Done, Marcia and Alexander!!

Rays of Mercy Cenacle of Akron

Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy meet here every Friday at 3pm to pray the Chaplet. You are invited to join them and learn more about this outreach mission of lay men and women. For more information contact: Mrs. Manena Vidlak at 330-762-1959.

Many who are Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, and Servers may be wondering what to do now that the parishes have merged. You are still needed. Soon we will be putting together Ministry Schedules and setting times for a brief training. Please watch for information here in the bulletin and on the website.

Karen McNeill captured the June 27^th Mass at St. Mary’s on DVD.  It contains a video of the Mass and music, and also some still shots of people and families.  If you would like a copy of this historic event you can contact Karen at Karen_McNeill@yahoo.com.  They are $20 plus 2.50 for shipping and handling.

For your convenience, the West Campus Parking Garage on the next block south of the church is available for parking on Saturday and Sundays for free. Just tell the attendant you are there for Mass. Also, there is parking in our lot between the church and old school building for weekend and daily Masses. Please allow room for those who may need a space close to the access ramp. Finally, for those who like to ‘car pool’, you are welcome to park at the St. Bernard-St. Mary School Parking lot at 750 So. Main and come together for Mass.
