On Sunday 25 April after the 10:00 AM Mass we will meet in the church meeting room for the presentation of the merger recommendations and mission statement. Parishioners will be asked for their reactions and suggestions. These will be presented to the pastor of the new parish for his consideration. The same presentation will be made at St. Mary Parish on Wednesday 28 April at 7:00 PM.

All proceeds benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The walk will begin and end at the Unitarian Universalist church across from Summit Mall and will go down West Market Street. We will be celebrating Anointing of the Sick on April 17th and 18th after all the masses.

The Newman Catholic Campus Ministry’s Relay for Life team will be having a bake sale at the masses on April 10th and 11th. This will help Newman’s team in the campus-wide effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Thanks and hope to see you there!

A “Caring and Sharing” session for those who are divorced, separated or widowed will be held on Monday, March 22nd from 7:30-9:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Convent Building, 1945 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Barb Vetter will facilitate this session. Ms. Vetter is a licensed counselor with a degree in Pastoral Clinical Counseling, assisting individuals and married couples in healing the wounded soul. Taizé prayer will be held at  Our Lady of the Elms Chapel 1230 West Market Street.  Taizé is Simple and meditative, an evening of contemplative prayer in the style of Taize` promotes serenity in all who participate.
