St. Bernard’s Church Steeple Chase is an event to raise funds for the repair of the church steeple.  Join us on October 9th at Emidio’s Party Center in Cuyahoga Falls.  Tickets are being sold before and after all Masses at St. Bernard for $35.  Horses can be purchased for just $20. The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the South Akron Knights of Columbus on August 18th from 2-7 pm.  Please come and donate!.  (Note: you have to wait 56 days between donations).

Our Picnic will be held Sunday, August 16 at Loyal Oak Park (2678 Hametown Road, Norton, OH) at 10 am.  We hope to see you and your family there!

There will be a meeting for all Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist on Monday August 24 at 7:00 pm in the Church.  We will discuss the new directives and how we will implement them here at St. Bernard.  All Eucharistic ministers who wish to continue in this ministry are asked to attend—if you can’t make this one, then please plan to attend an upcoming session in September
