Mass Schedule Change for 27 June and 4 July

The parish council has recommended that for the formal closing of St. Bernard Parish on 27 June and for the opening of St. Bernard – St. Mary Parish on 4 July there be only the 12:00 Noon Mass with Bp. Lennon in the morning. Given the importance of these Masses it was judged that we should gather together for one Mass in the morning. (more…)

The 50th wedding anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with Bishop Richard Lennon as the celebrant. Reservations are being accepted for couples married 50 years and couples celebrating other significant years 55 & over. (more…)

There will be a Latin fair at St. Bernard on June 19th from 5-10 pm. Entrance costs $1 per person and food will be sold separately. For more information, call Ada at the Spanish office: 330.253.5364.

In Appreciation… We will be having cake and coffee after the 10 a.m. mass in the Social Hall on June 20th in Appreciation for Fr. Clyde Foster. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Knights of Columbus 547 and St. Bernard-St. Mary night with the Aeros!  Aeros vs. Reading Phillies on Sat. July 31.  Game time is 7 pm.  Tickets are $6

We are in need of volunteers to help change Missalletes May 28th. Please come to the church at 8 A.M. if you can help.

Father Thomas Tifft, President-Rector of St. Mary Seminary, will speak on the topic, “Vatican Council II & Its Effects on the Life of the Church” at the next gathering, Tuesday, June 1, 7:00 p.m., at Blessed Trinity Parish (formerly St. Martha).
