Books for Africa Project invites you to a fundraiser here at St. Bernard-St. Mary Church on Saturday, July 16th in the Social Hall. Admission is free but a free-will offering will be collected. Dinner will start at 6 pm. If you are unable to attend but would like to help this worthy cause, could you be generous and give a monetary gift. Holy Name Society – Our general meeting will be held on June 13 (2nd Monday) at 7:30 p.m. A video will be show of a Modern Day Stigmatist. The meeting will be held at St. Bernard-St. Mary School located at 750 S. Main Street. There will be refreshments. Both women and men are invited.

Corpus Christi Outdoor Mass at St. Bernard-St. Mary School – There will be a Mass, Corpus Christi Procession, and Social at the St. Bernard-St. Mary School grounds at 750 S. Main Street on Sunday, June 26th at 9:30 AM (Rain or Shine). THERE WILL BE NO 9:30 AM MASS here in our regular church building that day. The 9:30 AM Mass and procession will be at the school grounds that day only. The Parish Council encourages all parishioners to join in this beautiful expression of faith and unity, take a visit through our SB-SM School, and enjoy the scenery!

Fr. Ralph Coletta – will celebrate his 50th year of Ordination to the Priesthood on May 29th with a Mass at 11:30am here at St. Bernard-St. Mary Parish. Everyone is invited to this Golden Jubilee.

St. Bernard-St Mary will be hosting a pre-baptism class for all parents wishing to have their children baptized. The program will be held in the main Church on Sunday, May 15 from 2-4 PM. Our First Communicants will receive the Eucharist here next Sunday, May 1 at the 9:30am Mass, a reception will follow in the Social Hall. Please pray for our candidates to these Initiation Sacraments.

Easter Celebration The SB-SM Parish Hispanic Office would like to invite everyone to an Easter Celebration Sunday, April 24th in the Social Hall at 7 p.m. Bring a dish to share. After the meal there will be lots of Easter candy for all the children.

“Red Mass” Bishop Richard Lennon will celebrate the “Red Mass” at noon on Friday, May 6th here. Come pray for & support those in the legal & law enforcement professions. The annual Sir Thomas More Award (patron saint of lawyers) is being given to Akron Attorney Thomas Knoll. Free Parking in the “Polsky Deck” across the street.
