Can you give us a hand taking down the Christmas decorations? Join us for the 5:10pm Mass on Monday, January 10th, and we’ll start de-decorating immediately after the Mass. Putting things up this year went fast due to the great turnout of volunteers; many hands make light work. Just show up if you can help.

Join socially concerned members of St. Bernard-St. Mary Parish as we host the January meeting of the Catholic Commission, Thursday, January 20th from 7pm-8:30pm. The evening begins with prayer followed by the program which includes brief committee reports, a presentation on the myths and reality of immigration by Sr. Rita Mary Harwood, Secretary of Parish Life and Chair of the Welcome the Stranger Task Force on Immigration, Diocese of Cleveland. We need volunteers on Wednesday, Dec. 15th and Thursday, Dec. 23rd evenings to help prepare the church for Christmas. Please call the Parish Office if you can be here so we have enough pizza.

Summit Choral Society (SCS) will be having their Christmas Concerts December 17th, 18th and 19th here at St. Bernard – St. Mary Parish. Celebrate the season with beautiful choral music. For tickets, concert times or more information please call Summit Choral Society at 330-434-7464. Please note that there is no 8PM Mass on Sunday, December 19th.

Parish Offices will be closed Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th for Thanksgiving weekend.

There are two trainings sessions remaining: November 15th and 22nd at 7PM here in the church. If you are a Lector or would like to be for our parish, please attend one of the remaining training sessions. Thanks.

For sale after all Masses the weekend of November 13th and 14th Hand Carved Olive Wood from the Holy Land of Bethlehem. Income of the sales will support the Christian Wood Carvers in Bethlehem. If you have any question please call Eman at 810-686-7309.

We will be changing the missalettes on Friday, November 26 at 8AM. Many helping hand will be greatly appreciated.

We will be having a Rummage Sale to benefit St. Bernard-St. Mary Parish & School. The Sale will be held Saturday, October 30^th from 9AM-4PM at both St. Bernard-St. Mary’s Rectory and St. Mary’s Rectory. Many items will be for sale. Everyone is welcome.

As you know we are responsible for the upkeep of our cemetery which is located on Maple St. We will be edging along fences, dirt digging and leaf removal. We are in need of MEN of the parish to help Saturday, October 23 from 9AM-12Noon. Please bring your rakes, shovels and your pick-up truck, if you have one.
