This year’s RCIA class helped out with hot meals as they do every year. volunteering to serve Akron’s hungry.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or RCIA is church’s process for bringing adults into the Catholic Church. We welcome anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic to journey with us. RCIA meets at the 10 am Mass starting in September and concludes at Pentecost the following year. Please contact Deacon Ray DiMascio at 330-253-5161, ext 15 for more information.

This week in RCIA we’ll have an opportunity for our candidates to ask questions, get answers and understand more fully what will happen in next week’s Rite of Welcoming.
In this week’s RCIA session on All Saints Day and All Souls Day, we will be discussing the scriptures, discovering Invitations of Jesus and doing meditative prayer as our candidates look forward to the Rite of Welcoming on November 22.

Our RCIA class is growing, we now have seven candidates attending our regular sessions.
